Rebecca Brookes is a renowned fitness trainer, specialising in pre- and postnatal care.

In 2005 she began her personal training studies. Soon after she was working in a Local Government Sport Centre with so many different people with all different goals and it wasn’t too long before she found her core focus which was to assist women with their health and fitness goals including pregnancy, and getting new mums back into shape. After working for various organisations as a personal trainer she decided to start her own business called Body Burn in 2010, running group training, private personal training sessions and small groups.

In 2016 Bec was super excited to announce that she was pregnant! Many clients and friends would ask what type of resistance training they could do while pregnant. From here it all began. Bec decided to put this book of workouts together and source valuable information for pregnant women to help guide them through a safe training regime that they could do anywhere, with limited equipment. Bec personally completed all of these workouts and wanted to share this with as many women as possible.
Bec is very passionate about keeping healthy and exercising, especially when pregnant. It is crucial that we look after ourselves the best we can.

Keeping up with your exercise will help prepare you for labour both physically and mentally, it will also aid in a speedy recovery post birth. Bec hopes to help more women through their amazing journey of pregnancy. Including you!
